Personal Training

If you have never tried working out, a personal trainer is the ultimate fitness coach. Your trainer will introduce you to a simple, effective routine and progressively build a solid foundation, which will give you the confidence and knowledge to succeed.

 

Already in decent shape, but feel stuck or feel you you have plateaued? An FxS personal trainer is the perfect solution to kick-start both your motivation and your workout routine as well.

  • Our Personal Training is for one to two individuals. We offer that a second person can join a session at no extra cost. 

Pricing

  • 60 minute session - $90

  • 60 minute session - $437.50 for a 5 pack

  • 60 minute session - $850 for a 10 pack

  • 30 minute session - $50

  • 30 minute session - $250 for a 5 pack

  • 30 minute session - $500 for a 10 pack

Small Group Training

FxS also offers semi-private training for those who like working with a partner or friend or for those people who get more out of their workout by competing. Semi-private training is typically 3-5 people with one trainer. Common group dynamics are friends, husband-wife teams, brides and bridesmaids, siblings, and mother-daughter duos. Semi-private training is more cost-effective than the traditional 1 on 1 training and is also a popular option.

FXS Saturday Class

Looking for a challenge? Weekend Warrior? FXS Saturday class has power and strength training, mobility, and conditioning. Our instructor prepares a different workout each Saturday to challenge the class and gets them out of their comfort zone. This class can be attended by all fitness levels. Each instructor is prepared to modify a workout to make the class easier or more challenging depending on the fitness level of the client.

FXS Open Gym

Function and Strength has open gym hours open to the public. FXS open gym hours accommodates all those just looking to do their own thing, to those that might need a program to follow, to those that need a specific goal oriented program, written by a trainer, with trainer support. 

 

During the open gym hours, FXS will have a certified trainer on the floor to help with any questions a member might have.  We have three different options to choose from:

 

Monthly Member—This option is for those who would like to come use the gym at their own leisure and use the equipment within the facility during the open gym hours. 

** Saturday 7-8am class is included with this option 

 

 

Monthly Member w/program—This option is for those who like to follow a structured program. Everything from Olympic lifting (power), strength training, mobility, and energy systems training (conditioning). This will all be a goal-oriented, structured program broken down into 4-6 week microcycles so that there can be consistent tracking and adjustment. Most weeks consist of Strength Training on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's and Aerobic/Circuit Training on Tuesday &Thursday. Each individual will get the written program to follow at their own pace. 

** Saturday 7-8am class is included with this option 

 

 

Individual Program—This option is for those who may have specific goals for training and need a program to help them achieve those goals. An FXS trainer will sit down with the clients and go over what goals they may have and then create a program that is designed around their goals. Most of these programs will be written in 3 week microcycles to help track the progress of the program. This option also includes one 30 minute personal training session per microcyle so the trainer can go through the program with the client. After the training session, clients can ask the trainer on the floor during open gym hours any questions that may come up after that.
